“Dear God please forgive me for my sins and help me turn from them and follow you. My desire now and for the rest of my days here on Earth is to follow you in all that I do. I ask for wisdom as to what to do next and guidance as to how to live my life for you. I put my hope and trust in you. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen”

The Bible says that our souls are eternal and we will live forever somewhere. That somewhere boils down to 2 places, Heaven or Hell. Our destination pivots upon our choices here on Earth. That’s why the most important choice that you could ever make here on earth is to turn from your sins and follow Jesus. It will be the most difficult and socially challenging journey you will ever take, but it is worth more than all the money or fame in the world. Although the pleasures of this world will continue to be enticing, the end result is Hell. It is only by knowing Jesus that you will ever have the opportunity to go to Heaven when you die and that’s because Jesus is the only one who paid for your sins in full. Here’s What The Bible Says About Turning From Your Sins and Following Jesus: The Bible says “For whosoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved” Romans 10:13 The Bible says “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 The Bible says “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life” John 3:16 The Bible says “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” Romans 6:23 The Bible says, “….., unless you repent you will all likewise parish” Luke 13:3 The Bible says, “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but He is long suffering towards us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 Here’s a sample prayer to the Lord for those who would like to turn from their sins and follow Jesus to receive eternal life.
